| Web For All |
| The Web has had a glorious existence of over two decades and has
revolutionized the way we work and live. It has been the catalyst for
proliferating information across boundaries, enabling effective communication and 24/7 service availability all leading to a digital,
information based economy that we have today. Yet, its direct influence has
reached a small percentage of human population. By virtue of being hosted
in a growing developing country, bubbling with innovation, this year's
theme aims to highlight the need for expanding the horizons of the Web to
become all inclusive and pervasive, reaching out to every human life. |

I welcome you all to the 20th edition of the International World Wide Web Conference- the premier forum for researchers, practitioners, developers, technologists, and other professionals to discuss and debate the future of the Web. Given its rich cultural heritage, its multidimensional nature, its economic growth and a strong IT industry, India is one of the most happening places to be in, today. We take great pleasure in hosting the conference here and invite you all to join us at Hyderabad in 2011.

The World Wide Web Conference is the de-facto platform for innovators to come together for designing and building the next wave of technologies for the Web. Continuing its rich tradition, we expect to pull together a strong technical program for researchers as well as practitioners. The theme for WWW 2011 is “Web for All” to promote the all inclusive aspect of Web. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I welcome you all to feed your intellect while your mind and body relax in the diversity, beauty and spirituality of India.
